• Marcela studied Communications at the Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. She then moved to Canada and attended the Vancouver Film School for a diploma in Classical Animation and Digital Character Animation. Her passion for drawing and painting shifted her direction and now she works as a freelance illustrator dividing her time between Toronto and New York. 

    In Marcela's own words:
    "I start sketching in pencil or on my tablet directly in Photoshop. From there I develop my work in either digital painting or acrylics. I approach my digital pieces as I do traditional ones, building on colours and never underestimating an inch or pixel.I draw whenever I can, dance wherever I can and put my heart in whatever project I work on."
